The Full Story
Grace and Favour Ministries, founded by five 3rd year students from Charis Bible College Walsall, aims to foster community in The Delves area of Walsall. Recognising a lack of social activities and spiritual upliftment, Nancy spearheaded the initiative.
The ministry focuses on bringing people together to create a vibrant and thriving space especially for families, children, the youth and the elderly. By utilising community halls and partnering with local churches and other supporters, the ministry plans various monthly events.
These include community dinners, BBQ lunches, coffee mornings, life groups, arts and crafts activities and other children’s activities, motivational talks, movie nights, worship nights, prayer and healing.
These activities address social issues such as loneliness, depression, anxiety, rejection and low self-esteem, while also providing spiritual support through prayer and one-on-one ministry. Supported by local authorities, churches, retailers, other donors and sponsors, the team is committed to realising its mission and vision.
