“On April 4th, 2022, I discovered I was pregnant while studying at a Bible college. As a firstyear student, I was still in the process of changing my mindset. However, when I informed the college about my pregnancy out of wedlock, I was informed that I broke policy and would not be able to attend for at least two years.
Additionally, I lost my job at the college and was asked to leave the premises immediately. Feeling rejected and unwanted, especially since the father of my baby didn't want to be involved, I struggled to believe that God still wanted me. Leaving the college made me feel like God had rejected me, but after two weeks, I fell incredibly ill and feared I would lose my baby due to excessive bleeding. However, a hospital visit revealed that everything was normal, and during the sonogram, I saw my baby's heartbeat for the first time. Overwhelmed with tears of joy, I realized that God's plan was just beginning. Following the sonogram, my pastor prayed for me and highlighted that I needed to forgive someone.
Though it was difficult, I knew he meant forgiving my baby's father and my son's father, as well as the organization that made me feel rejected by God. I handed this burden over to God and trusted Him. Next, God guided me to move out of my parents' house, despite not having a job or income. Despite my concerns, I found a flat within two weeks, and God confirmed it was the right choice. Although I worried about finances, God assured me by providing the means to sign the lease. I spent the next six months of my pregnancy alone in that flat, deepening my relationship with God through constant prayer. Even during childbirth, God supported me. Through these challenges, I came to truly know who God is and experienced His unwavering presence and provision.“
